We are a diverse Saturday school in West London with an emphasis on teaching Arabic and the Quran. We are dedicated in providing an excellent and engaging environment for all of our pupils.
Our classes range from Reception to GCSE and we accept children from 5 years old. Our main objective is strengthening the pupil’s Arabic language. The teachers only speak to the pupils in Arabic and if needed there is a helper in every class that can translate.
We pride ourselves on putting our main religious focus on teaching children the Quran as well as hadiths from Prophet Muhammad (SWAW). Our curriculum does not include information on sects of Islam as we want to focus on unity. Parents are able to teach their children specificities regarding this at home, but it is not something the school focuses on.
We have a rate of 95% A*-A since 2009.
The GCSE teacher also runs a 30 minute exercise class with his year group before starting on their studies.
A lot of our focus is put in finding new ways to engage the children in learning the Arabic language. We want them to enjoy learning and coming to school on Saturday’s so we are continuously using our initiative to come up with new activities.
Quran competition
This is open to all year groups and we get external examiners to mark the students. We encourage all students to participate and provide everyone with medals. The top 3 pupils of every class also get trophies.
Eid parties
We enjoy providing a fun and lively environment for the pupils. Each class provides an act/ play and the rest of the school gets to see the performances they have been working hard on.
End of year party
This is a great opportunity to see the growth of the pupils throughout the year and award them for their excellence. It’s a day filled with celebration, plenty of food and even a bouncy castle!
Mawlid Al-Nabi
Our main religious focus is on teaching the children about our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAWA). This is a fun festive day at the school where we give pupils presents and highlight important hadiths by the Prophet in an enjoyable and engaging way.
